ARMAA provided feedback to the Province as part of the Bill 20 engagement process. Feedback on the proposed changes focuses on structural and procedural elements with the aim of expressing the need for clarity, transparency, and consistency and not placing further burden on local municipal resources. Regarding campaign expense limits and political parties, ARMAA’s feedback focused on the same above principles along with concern over the potential politicization/vulnerability of the CAO position.
