Update: October 18, 2024

ARMAA provided feedback on the Province as part of the Bill 18 engagement process. The Province was seeking feedback on implementation, not on the direction of the Bill itself. Feedback would be considered in development of the associated regulations. ARMAA’s feedback was technical in nature and generally sought ways to make implementation of the Act as small a burden as possible. This included support of exemptions based on specific topics, funding amounts, etc. Initial feedback from Municipal Affairs is that this direction will be supported in the regulations.
