Awards Winners Announced for 2022 Minister’s Awards for Municipal and Public Library Excellence
Alberta Municipal Affairs recently announced the winners of this year’s Minister’s Awards for Municipal and Public Library Excellence. Each one of the municipal award winners highlights the very best in public service, from enhancing community safety and service delivery to fostering partnerships and building economic strength. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all municipalities that submitted their programs and initiatives for consideration.
This year marks the first time the awards for municipalities and public libraries were brought together under one program, with 44 submissions from across Alberta. All of the submissions exemplify excellent public services and are a great way for municipalities and public libraries to learn from each other and share best practices.
A special thank you also to the volunteer review committee that helped select this year’s winners. This year’s review committee was made up of representatives from a number of municipal organizations, including Alberta Municipalities and the Rural Municipalities of Alberta.
