About the Role
Lead a team that supports municipalities across Alberta in achieving long-term sustainability. This role
oversees municipal viability reviews and restructuring processes, including dissolutions, amalgamations,
and status changes, while providing expert advice in complex situations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage municipal viability reviews and restructuring initiatives.
• Apply legislative frameworks under the Municipal Government Act.
• Provide strategic leadership and staff development.
• Build strong relationships with municipalities and stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple projects requiring innovative solutions.
Qualifications
• Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible experience delivering programs for
municipal clients.
• Strong knowledge of municipal legislation and governance.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
