Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Engineering and
Planning participates as a senior staff member in the overall County administration
and is directly accountable for the planning, administration, and management of the
Engineering and Planning Department. The successful candidate will have a post-
secondary education in Civil or Civil-Environmental Engineering or related field of
study with five years of local government experience. Experience with procurement,
including writing of contracts and agreements, as well as broad-based engineering
and technical skills relating to the municipal field, are required.
